Kumbet Tourism Centre

Kumbet Tourism Centre, situated approximately 60 kilometres from Giresun, with Kumbet Plateau being in the centre, is one of Giresun’s most famous and prominent plateaus. The public promenade area Aymac found in Kumbet, together with Salon Cayiri Forest Recreation Area owned by the Management of Forests are the main local attractions. They are the main two attractions for the daily visitors from Giresun to travel to Kumbet. Aymac Mevkii (another local promenade area) is situated 2 kilometres northwest of Kumbet Plateau. Aymac Region where Kumbet Festival is celebrated every year on the second Sunday of July is a hill with a magnificent scenery of the surroundings and very rich in natural beauty.

Bektaş Tourism Centre

Bektas Tourism Centre is situated 56 kilometres away from the centre of Giresun when you follow the routes through Evrenkoy, Erimez and Yavuzkemal. It includes Kulakkaya Plateau, Melikli Obasi Plateau, Kurttepe region and Alcakbel Forest Picnic Area. Snow can be seen in some certain spots on this plateau even in the beginning of the summer months. Kurttepe region is suitable for skiing in the winter. This part is frequently visited due to its beautiful scenery all throughout the year. Skiing on the grass is possible during summer in the same spot. Forestry Education Centre and Forestry Picnic Area next to it situated in Kulakkaya Alcakbel region offer their services for the locals who have taken day trips to the region. There are three mountain houses, a picnic area, a children’s park and a restaurant in this spot. It becomes especially very busy on the weekends by visitors from Giresun and those visiting from the surrounding town centres.

Kulakkaya Plateau

This plateau situated approximately 45 kilometres away from Giresun has a height of 1500 metres and is the most visited, most well-known plateau of Giresun with great natural resources and sceneries. The Desput Rock and its water situated on the way to Kulakkaya, along with Erimez region and Gelin Rock are all places of interest. There is a daily recreation centre in the Alcakbel Forestry region with a picnic area, a children's park and in Yavuzkemal region, situated right next to Alcakbel, there are many great shops where one can find everything.
